3. Information Sharing & Service Providers

- Hosting & infrastructure: We rely on secure hosting providers to run the Platform and keep your data safe. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps) may be collected for security, reliability, and performance purposes.
- Payments: Payment processing is handled by a licensed third-party payment provider. When you pay, your payment details are sent directly to the provider, and we never store your card or bank details. All marketplace payments are held in escrow and released only after delivery is confirmed. Collection fees and transfer charges are absorbed from CampSwap's commission and are not charged to you separately.
- Email & notifications: We use a trusted email service to send verification codes, order and payout updates, and other necessary communications on our behalf.
- Other users: Your name, phone number (if you choose to show it), institution, and listing details are visible to other users as needed for marketplace transactions. Reviews you write are publicly visible.
Escrow protection does not apply to payments made outside the Platform. We encourage all buyers and sellers to complete transactions through the Platform.
4. Push Notifications
With your consent, we may send push notifications for product approval updates, new messages, and platform announcements. You can opt out at any time through your browser or device settings.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Some data may be retained for legitimate legal or compliance purposes.
